Residents participate in research projects guided by faculty on the Research Review Committee. All residents must complete a research project with manuscript submission for publication or presentation. Residents regularly present at regional meetings of the New England Division of the American Cancer Society, New England Surgical Society, and the annual meeting of the Connecticut Chapter of the American College of Surgeons.
