| The Department of Surgery has over 30 full- and part-time attending faculty in general surgery, vascular surgery, and surgical subspecialties. Many faculty members have clinical appointments at Yale University School of Medicine. All residents are assigned a faculty mentor to serve as a resource during residency. Our mentoring program is comprehensive with scheduled meetings addressing the professional and personal needs of our residents and ensuring that operative case volume benchmarks are being met.
